Hawker Siddeley Nimrod MR.1 - RAF Kinloss Wing, Moray, Scotland, 1977 (1:144 Scale) Corgi Model No. AA35602  Wingspan 9.5 In.

XV254 was the aircraft chosen to be statically displayed to HM The Queen in July 1977 at RAF Finningley as part of The Queen's Silver Jubilee Review of the RAF.  The model is depicted in its original delivery scheme of light gray and white, which it wore between 1969-81.

Lockheed Super Constellation EC-121R - USAF, Korat, RTAFB, Thailand (1:144 Scale) Corgi Model No. AA35103 Wingspan 10.25 In.

The Air Force converted 30 ex-Navy EC-121Ks and EC-121Ps into EC-121Rs.  The Radomes and the AEW equipment were removed, and they were used as airborne relay stations to detect and transmit signals from air-dropped seismic devices dropped behind enemy lines.  Based at Korat, RTAFB Thailand, the R's processed data received from Beech QU-22Bs, which was picked from seismic devices (called ADSID) planted along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

P-47D Thunderbolt, Daring Dottie III, Maj. John T. Moore, 341st FS/348th FG, 1944 (1:72 Scale) Corgi Model No. AA33812 Wingspan 6.89 In.

Major Moore scored his final four victories in this aircraft the last of which took the form of a Zeke off Manus Island.  Early photos of this P-47D suggest the fighter was conventionally camouflaged at some point, prior to adopting this unique scheme.

Spitfire MkVC, Wg. Cdr. Clive Caldwell, OC No. 1 FW, RAAF, Livingstone, 1943 (1:72 Scale)  Corgi Model No. AA31910 Wingspan 6.14 In.

On December 5, 1941, Caldwell shot down five Ju87's in a single engagement.  He was promoted to Squadron Leader in January 1942 and took command of 112 Squadron RAF flying Kittyhawks.  Caldwell's prowess as Wing Commander earned him the nickname, Killer, a moniker he disliked, although it was earned for service he was justifiably proud of.
